I called and asked if they had a DVI-D to VGA adapter in stock and was told they did, so I drove 24 miles (round trip) with a friend to pick up this very-hard-to-find-locally computer part. When we got there, we were greeted by "T" and we told her what we were looking for. She confidently walked over to a hook on the wall, removed a small plastic bag with an adapter in it and handed it to me. It was a DVI-I adapter, not a DVI-D adapter. She told us that she had never seen an adapter like we descibed and after explaining the difference between the adapters to her, she got an nVidia graphics card and a DVI video cable and looked at the differences and saw what we were talking about and admitted that they do not have any.
