Meredith rocks! 8/4/2011

When we arrived at the clinic the front desk staff was very courteous and responsive. My maltese puppy was treated very gently by the staff, he's always well taken care of and he loves Meredith! I was very satisfied with Cutten after taking him in for his routine appointments, but when we had an emergency (bloody diarrhea) we were especially impressed on how responsive and attentive the staff was. We'll definitively keep coming back to Cutten for years. more

Thanks for caring my pet 7/22/2011

I really feel like my pet gets the best possible health care here. I brought my doggy because she has been trouble with her legs for a while. Now she is starting to run around more and wag the tail. I am very happy and allot more at ease. Thanks for caring for her. more

Extremely competent veterinarian 7/18/2011

Dr. Joe is an extremely competent veterinarian. He is compassionate to the animal not the person. Many animals have been given to him by owners that were unwilling to provide medical care. He has treated the animals and found them suitable homes. Too many animals to count are living good lives because of his love for animals. more

Don't Go There!! You will lose $$$ 2/8/2011

Wow, i thought i was the only one that had problems with this vet. I took my dog in for teeth cleaning and the next day she had an infection in her mouth. I saved some money on the cleaning, but ended up taking her to the preferred, more expensive vet to get the infection cleared up. I was then told my the preferred vet that she had a baby tooth that never came out and was loose. Why didn't Humble remove it when she was knocked out for the teeth cleaning? I have also encountered Humble's cavalier attitude which annoyed me. I won't take any of my pets back there. more

I am new to the area. My canine buddy needed treatment over july 4th weekend. Cutten was the ONLY place I could find open.\r The fee I felt was reasonable and the staff was awesome as well as Dr. Humble. I have since heard wayside gripes from people about Humble but my experience was good and I will go back. Yes, he is a bit abrupt but as one review I read elsewhere, is it YOU or your pet that needs coddled in a time of medical need. Of course in an ideal world i would say both to some degree BUT the bottom line is your pet! In addition, I first hand listened to Humble on the telephone going to hand deliver medicine to a woman in Scotia for her feline. Forty minutes of his personal time each way! As far as i am concerned, that is far from a vet that does not care! more

The Best Vet in Humboldt County 4/21/2009

Dr. Hummel saved our dogs life. A puppy with parvo that almostdied under the care of SBAC. Brought her to Cutten Animal Hosp.Under Intensive Care for 4 days. A great clinic with a caring andprofessional staff. Highly recommended. more
