My various lovable dogs have been patients at Custer Parkway Animal Hospital for over 30 years...since 1976...and I would never consider another clinic to take my pets.
Besides bathing and housing my Labs, the vets have literally saved my dogs' lives several times over the years...from cancer to broken legs, from being run over by a car to minor things like tooth aches, bee stings and skin allergies. From taking care of my mutts in the '70s to my chocolate Labs in the 2000s, these doctors are all world class.
Dr. Lee, who has since retired, was excellent in his field and Dr. Swinson, who I believe is now the owner of Custer Parkway Animal Hospital, is a true Godsend. She has revitalized the entire clinic, updated all the services (including the appearance of the place) and surrouded herself with a top-notch, dedicated hospital staff. Each and every time I have an appointment at the clinic, I make sure I ask for her. She not only knows what she's doing, but she takes time to explain everything to me or to my wife. It's obvious she cares about my dogs because they absolutely love seeing her. Plus, as expensive as today's medication is, she always tries to figure out a way to save me as much money as possible. This, I've never experienced in any form of doctor before...those who specialize in animals or humans! Like I said previously, the woman is a Godsend, and I've never met anyone quite like her before (and her staff is the same way).
The only way this place could be better is if it was open 24/7. DOYLE WALKER, PLANO,
TX.
Pros: Always on time for appointment and a very caring staff
Cons: The place is full of Aggies
