This is a wonderful kid's consignment shop. I always find great deals here. The clothes are always in perfect condition! I know I can always find what I need there. When my friend told me there was a negative on this site about Curtain Climbers I rushed right here to put my 2 cents in (for what it's worth) and I see a bunch of other people did too. I am a grandmother with custody of 2 kids and this store is wonderful. The prices are outstanding and your can get so much for your money. The toys are always clean and have working batteries and the girls there are awesome. It's also nice to see a local business giving back to the community. Good work Curtain Climbers. I love this store. It's always clean and well organized and the bargains are amazing when you're comparing them to retail. You can buy kids clothes here at a fraction of the cost and the baby furniture is always checked for recalls. There should be more stores like this one around. Yeah I have to agree with Jessica. I've never had a problem with this consignment shop. My girlfriend and I have been shopping here for about 2 years and they've always been great to deal with. We also started out using the free room for needy families and have become a regular shopper for a couple of years now. I cannot and never will relate to the negative comment about Curtain Climbers Consignment. They have always been wonderful to me. I first started going to this store in 2005 when I had to use their needy family room. They didn't have any infant formula or diapers so the owner gave me money out of the register for them. I've been a regular customer and consignor ever since. Personally, I think the person who left the negative comment probably has nothing better to do with her time. I have to say I have never felt the need to write a review before today. I must first say that I have managed to get a couple of great buys for my toddler. If you are just looking for a place to get a bargain, this is your place but If you want to do business with them and bring your items in for sale, just be prepared to deal with the obnoxious owner and her staff. You will be treated like they are doing you a favor. They are short, snippy and just plain rude. I was recently in to shop for some fall bargains and to check my sales and while I was there, another customer was bringing in some items to consign. After she left I was still shopping around and heard the owner and her employee (who had bare feet up on a counter) bash this woman and the items that she brings in. I was shocked at how unprofessional they were. After I let them go on for a few minutes, I stepped up to the counter only to be ignored. It was only when the phone rang that the owner acknowledged I was there and she proceeded to have what was clearly a personal conversation while holding her finger up in the air as to say ""wait a minute."" Most of the time when I have gone in there, I've excused the behavior because I was getting ""good deals"" but I will no longer be doing business with these people.
