Service and food could be better 12/23/2006

The restaurant is nice, but the food is not authentic (at least not the north indian dishes). The service isn't too good. Takes forever to get seated and to get drink refills. The prices are too high too. For a little bowl of chat papdi it is $6 and for 2 chapati it is $3. The chapati wasn't that good either. Lamb Vindaloo and Chili Chicken are also disappointing. Maybe there south Indian cuisine is better, but I won't go back to find out. more

Indian Restaurant 9/6/2006

I believe this is one of the oldest Indian restaurants in town. I have been to their buffet lunch many a times and I've always been satisfied with the quality and quantity. They have a mixture of both veg and non-veg dishes on their buffet menu. It all changed when I went with my family 10 days back for dinner. The service on that day was really pathetic and they have no clue what they are doing. The guy who was serving us was least bothered and it took 3-4 requests to get our glasses filled with water and the food was not that good. Most of the items in the dinner menu are too over priced and not closer to what we pay. I would say try the buffet and look for some other restaurant if you want to do dinner. more

Lunch buffet Awesome 9/30/2005

this place is soo great. It's little bit of a distance away but it is soo good. Lunch is best to go to because you get an endless buffett of really good food. If you go any other time i would suggest getting the variety plate where they give you the daily specials. Also start with the samosas. yummm! more

Good Indian food 9/21/2005

Though not the most authentic indian restaurant curry house has got a good blend of vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes on their buffet. You would not go wrong with the lunch buffet which has got a mixture of north indian, south indian food. Try anything from the big list of items available. The interior looks pretty and spacious. I have been there more than 3 times and the dessert has never changed and not worthy enough to give it a shot. They accept Restaurant.com gift coupons as well and the service is appreciable. more

Great Indian resturant 9/4/2005

This Indian restaurant is the best India restaurant I have had in Richmond. I was introduced to this place by an Indian friend. Their food is so delicious. Since I am not familiar with Indian menu and don’t know how to order, I choose lunch buffet most of the time. There are a variety of Indian foods you can choose to eat. You will never be wrong to go to this place. more

Best indian restaurant in town. 8/4/2005

I have eaten at many indian restaurant in town but Curry house is the best in richmond/chester field. I love the location because it is close to my work. Lunch buffet is awesome. Big variety of food plus they have spicy and mild food for every taste type of people. Very fast service and tasty food makes it without a doubt my choice of lunch restaurant. I would highly recommended them. Give them a shot, you wont be disappointed. For dinner try Thali. Many types of food in small dishes. more
