Great Family Day! 9/22/2005

The Curious Kid's museum is not only a favorite with kids, it can be part of a great family day. With it being located right on the bluff, there are lots of nice picnic spots, and the beach below has a substantial play area for children to run around. The museum itself has lots to do. Favorites include the "farm room" and the animals, which the staff will take out upon request. This is an easy and fairly inexpensive way for a family to take a nice outing together. more

Kids love it! 8/13/2005

I remember coming here as a kid at our school field trips. Alot of the exhibits are still actually the same but I guess they are doing the "stick with what works" idea. Now I can take my kids here and I can tell they are having a blast. The shadow room, the make believe and the slides, rides are all my daughters favorites. There is so much to do and you can literally see there minds at work. The price is decent for what you and your children get out of it/ Spend hours here then walk down the hill to Lake Michigan and spend the rest of the day at the beach. Enjoy a family day here and your little ones will always remember this place. more

Fun Kids Museum 7/28/2005

Though this is not my favorite kids museum, it is a fun one to visit. It has two floors of activities for kids of all ages. It includes a slide, a kitchen area, a water play area and much, much more. It is near the water which is nice-it is a great place to play and have a picnic. There is also quite a bit of small town shops surrounding the area. It is a great activity to add to a day in the area! more
