I am so excited to hear that Kamia Langenecker is going to be working at Curabella! She has done my nails for years. She is meticulous to detail and intrinsically creative. The best tip I may give is to have Kamia do your nails! more

I went to Curabella for the first time. I've just moved to Cincinnati and am super hesitant about getting my hair cut. They were very warm and welcoming. Monica cut my hair and it is definitely the best hair cut I have ever gotten!! She listened to exactly what i wanted and made it 10 times better! I would absolutely recommend this salon! more

I went to Curabella for the first time. It is a very nice salon. Perry cut and colored my hair and did an amazing job. He listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. My highlights and low lights look natural and the cut is great. more

I definitely am the type who finds a good stylist and won't leave. Jim Alford, one of the co-owners of Curabella has been cutting my hair for over 5 years (even before he opened Curabella). I have never been dissapointed in my hair and get tons of compliments! Not only am I extremely impressed with the quality of work I receive, he is entertaining and gives the best head massages in the world! In addition, the salon is clean, decorated well and always organized. There are many great stylist in the salon but Jim is my man! more

This place is awesome--i love the ambiance, it's such a cute place, and fairly priced too! Ask for perry, he is so so so awesome, i love the cut he gave me. It was actually my first time at the salon, and i had a challenging cut (chic bob) but he pulled it off flawlessly. He also helped my pick between which cut i wanted, and it turned out way better. Moved to Cincinnati recently and found Curabella Salon and Shannon Young!! Love how my hair looks and how much fun I have while she is doing it. We recently moved to the CIncinanti area and I was fortunate enough to have found Curabella through citysearch. I am very particular about my haircut and coloring and I have never been anything but fantastically pleased by Jim at Curabella. He always takes his time, uses his creativity and does an excellant job of determining what will work best for my hair. Salon is sweet. Stylist are great. I have used Fayme numerous times for color, cut, style. She always listens, but will also make suggestions on what she feels would be a better cut/style - which I totally appreciate!! She is very passionate about her job - She will work to accentuate the natural beauty you already have. And she is a total perfectionist! Love her style in clothing, too! She will tell you where she bought it and how much it cost. She is very funny but a totally professional hair sylist who takes her job seriously. She will not let you walk out the door looking anything less than glam. You can't help but smile when you walk in the doors of this quaint salon with its gorgeous hard wood floors and warm decor brightened by the light and bustle pouring in from the streets of Mt. Lookout. Totally stylish and not at all pretentious, the folks at Curabella always greet you with a smile and immediately make to feel like you're part of the ""family."" My stylist is Fayme who has been keeping my locks looking fresh for years now. Her creative cut and color ideas and spunky personality make coming to see her something I look forward to each month. She always has a new idea, product or technique for my hair to keep it looking hip and healthy. I feel my hair has never looked better and can't wait to see what she'll do next. I've been a client of co-owner Mary Beth Mitchell for years and was thrilled when she and partner Jim Alford opened Cura Bella. No one does my natural looking foil highlights quite like Mary Beth or Elana!!. The charming, European-style decor and the go-to location in historic and HAPPENING Mt. Loockout makes Cura Bella a salon I always recommend to out-of-towners. Oh, btw, great restaurants too! Curabella is awesome! cura bella blasts the competition out of the water. i had the honor of getting my hair done by a major hottie named miss fayme, who was fun, friendly and a great stylist. she went out of her way to make my experience a good one, and she knows her stuff. mary beth is awesome too and manages the salon to the nines. you are missing out if you don't check out cura bella in mt. lookout, you will not be disappointed. My stylist name was Fayme, and she was not only very cute and super sweet, but she also gave me a damn great haircut. Read the other reviews, they are right on. Real cool vibe, comfortable, clean, accessible, friendly, professional. If your a guy that doesn't know a lot about hair but knows enough not to pay 7 bucks for a haircut this place should be at the top of your list.. I have been living in Cincinnati for 12 years, and I have tried many salons - Identity, Mitchell's, Pump, Salon LA, Great Clips, Pure Concept. I walked into Cura Bella once to check it out, and the girl at the front desk was friendly and very helpful. I set up an appointment with Jim after reading on City Search how much his customers loved his cuts. I have continued going to Jim for all my cuts since - it's a pleasure to go to Cura Bella. Jim sits me down each time and asks me if I'd like to change anything. I feel like he takes time on my cut and listens to what I want, and recommends what he thinks might look good. I have always feel like my cut looks the best after leaving Cura Bella, more so than any of those other salons. I've had a problem in the past with stylists listening at first, then going on auto-pilot and ignoring how I might want to change things. This is not a problem at Cura Bella. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and I never feel like I'm out of place or being shunned if I'm not made up and dressed up. I highly recommend Cura Bella.
