  • Cumberland River Regional Mental Health - Mental Retardation Board, also known as Cumberland River Comprehensive Care Center is a nonprofit regional organization offering services in mental health, mental retardation and substance abuse. Established in 1971, it serves southeastern Kentucky, through several facilities, including its head office and a clinic in Corbin, Ky. It provides mental health services, such as individual counseling and medication, psychiatric evaluation and rape crisis services. The center offers services for developmentally delayed persons, including speech, occupational and physical therapies, and behavior management. Cumberland River Regional Mental Health - Mental Retardation Board also provides substance abuse services, which include residential, transitional, outpatient services, as well as individual counseling with medication..
