We often stay at the Cumberland Inn when we visit our Great-Grandchildren. Our Granddaughter has a small home with five children, so we find the ""retreat"" to the Cumberland Inn gives us time to recoup and relax. The pool is excellent for children and the staff is very friendly. The food in the dining room is good, not great, but very ample. Since there is not a lot of entertainment in Williamsburg, the children really love the pool it is a great treat and makes our visit more exciting. The near by Water Park is wonderful in the summer.
Pros: Lovely Rooms; great pool, nice staff, dining room in the main building
Cons: Expensive for the area.
