Cumberland House Of Pizza

Every town in the country has its favorite pizza joint. Cumberland House of Pizza, or CHOPs, as we all call it, is Cumberland's. This is the place where the soccer kids go after their games, where Mom and Dads go for a beer and pizza after the Friday night football game, and where everyone goes when they haven't done grocery shopping and need dinner FAST. The pizza is excellent. Thinner crust and plenty of cheese, it's always done just right. The options are endless (I've never been daring enough to try the Hawaiian pizza although I've come to love the Greek pizza). I highly recommend their oven-warmed grinders - especially the Italian cold cuts grinder. If you're on a low carb diet, the Greek salad is good. My absolute favorite at CHOPs? The eggplant whether it be in a grinder (by the way, that's what we call 'subs' around here) or on top of pasta, the eggplant is delicious. more

The Cumberland House of Pizza has been a favorite childhood memory of mine for years. I used to frequent this establishment after baseball and soccer games with my teammates, but now come there with the family. The pizza is fabulous. The fish and chips on Friday's are to die for. you order at the counter then pick it up at the counter. There are plenty of tables to bring large groups and the restaurant has been recently upgraded and renovated. The menu is the same, but the interior got a major face-lift. The pizza is sicillian and the crust is very crispy. they also have a long list of savory subs and italian dinners. The spaghetti with grilled chiken, peppers, and onions is my personal favorte. To top it off, they have dessert from the Ice Cream Machine! more
