I asked for a turtle concrete mixer and what I got was something that looked like soup. The guy took it back and make another explaining that they put hot caramel syrup in it and that melts the ice cream and that other people have complained about the same thing. Well, I don't think that is what people want. The turtles people want, I believe, are soft caramels and pecan chunks that are covered with chocolate ( and not melted chocolate or caramel syrup). Honestly, why would anyone want to put hot syrup in a concrete mixer and then just throw in a handful of pecans? That is not a "concrete" mixer; it's not even thick enough to be a milk shake. A real concrete mixer type of entry should be very thick with chunks of all those high calorie chewy, yummy candies, cookies, etc. ( And I know if I am going to consume all those calories, it had better taste good and be worth all the exercising I have to do for eating it.) I know an ice cream vendor who hands the customers their similar ice cream entry upside down. I think the next time I ask for a turtle concrete mixer at Culvers, I am going to ask them to hand it to me "upside down." If you can't hand a concrete mixer to the customers upside down, it's not worth eating. Thanks for reading.
