Best custard to be found!!! 8/10/2006

If you haven't been here yet - make the trip! I am from the north where these originated, and I couldn't have been happier to find one here in Austin too! I'm an ice cream and custard fanatic - and this is the best! They make ""blizzards"" that are amazing - plus they have a flavor of the day that others mention. And even though I'm not a big burger fan - you have to try one of those too - they're called butter burgers, and any guy would love them! Although not located in the best location, it's definitely worth the drive when you're craving a good burger or cold dessert. Don't miss out! Pros: Best custard/ice cream anywhere! The Real Thing 6/8/2005

The frozen custard at this place is the Real Thing, folks... if you've never tried it, you must. I try to drive by as often as possible, just because it's fun to see what the Flavor of the Day is - but sometimes I just gotta stop! I love the ones with Heath or nuts the best, but they are ALL good. One caveat - they melt very fast in the summer, so if you get the waffle cone (which is the best, by the way), be prepared to lick fast and use lots of napkins! more

Great Food! 10/8/2004

Great frozen custard with a flavor of the day/week that changes. I enjoyed the Culvers root beer and my son enjoys their kid's meal which comes with a free custard dessert. They also have really good bacon cheese burgers that don't taste like your typical quickie food. Pros: inexpensive, drive-through, friendly more

Great casual place 3/4/2003

Good place for familys to have 'non fast food' fast food. The fries are great. The real reason to go there though is for the frozen custard. They have the basic chocolate and vanilla but out on the marquee they have the flavor of the day!! Pros: ice cream, clean more
