They don't use gloves, on multiple occassions I've gone in there and seen the guys not using gloves at all. The guys give you dirty looks when you enter and they always seem to be rushing you, if not bullying you into purchasing more. It has a really uncomfortable vibe going for it. I suppose unprofessional would be the best world for it. They don't know the difference between milanesa and carne asada and if you ask for one you really have to know what you're looking for 'cause they'll give you stuff from the carne asada pile and say, ""it's milanesa, it's the same thing"" when you protest. Clearly milanesa is a redder, thinner meat with far less fat than just your average carne asada, and it usually carries a premium price on it anywhere from twenty cents per pound to a full dollar more expensive. So why the premium price if they're just giving me meat from the carne asada pile? The only thing I'll go there for is last minute things I can't get elsewhere, you should NOT go there if you want meat. Get it elsewhere, the Culebra Meat Market near Rim Rock and Culebra while still having an uncomfortable vibe going for it is at least professional enough to wear gloves and have actual milanesa. Pros: Seldom a line, and it's close to home, but at what expense? Cons: No gloves, they consider carne asada and milanesa the same more
