Great place for Fresh Food 4/13/2009

While riding my motorcycle up around Lake Baryessa and not too far from Napa, I also missed the sign to this small restaurant. Walking in, I realized that it was very small, perhaps 6 tables, but welcoming. A man, wearing a cook outfit welcomed me and I soon after realized that he was the whole show: greater, waiter, chef and cashier! Pros: Great, fresh food and no crowd Cons: A bit far away more

Best Italian 5/20/2008

This is a great Italian restaurant. The pasta is cooked to perfection. The seafood dishes are light. My favorite is the scallops with risotto served with a yummy lemon sauce. The meal begins with warm crusty French bread served with a dipping sauce of olive oil, garlic and aged balsamic vinegar. The Caesar salad is the best I have ever had. Special feature seasonal produce. Recently I had the gazpacho which was cool and tasty made with a hint of grapefruit. It was unique and very good. This place is well worth the trip to enjoy a meal in a friendly atmosphere that has a distinct feel of Italy. Pros: Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Great food. Cons: It is not easy to find. more
