Crozet Eye Care, Optometrists is a technologically advanced practice that provides primary eye care and optical services. Through a comprehensive examination, Dr Shannon Franklin diagnoses ocular diseases like conjunctivitis, glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders. If needed, medical prescriptions are written. She also monitors ocular side effects of systemic diseases, such as high blood pressure and diabetes.
Treatment options for vision disorders like nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and focusing deficiencies are evaluated. These options often include glasses, contact lenses, and refractive surgery. Dr Franklin provides pre- and post-operative care for patients who require surgery.
For your eyewear needs, our optical contains over 600 frames in a variety of styles. Our optician, Tara, has over ten years experience in frame selection and lens fitting. High quality lenses and frames are the key to seeing and looking your best.

In an effort to encourage infant eye and vision assessments and ensure that they are accessible to everyone, the American Optometric Association and The Vision Care Institute of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc has partnered to create InfantSEE, a no-cost public health program developed to provide professional eye care for infants nationwide. Through InfantSEE, doctors of optometry provide a one-time, comprehensive eye assessment to infants between 6 and 12 months of age, offering early detection of potential eye and vision problems at no cost, regardless of income.
Dr. Franklin is an Infant SEE provider.
