My ex-husband & I were there on an all-expense paid company junket. Pretty nice. The breakfast crew was very accomodating, the room service was fast and decent, BUT the best time was ordering our Food & Drinks while IN the pool on the in-house phone in the middle of the night. The night crew delivered it while we were in that pool! \r Seriously, this crew is not only well-trained but absolutely fun and, to top all that, professional. Caps off a long day well!\r There is also an exquisite lounge topside with a breathtaking view and an interesting bartender... (Chambord rules) \r It appears I am under-rating this hotel, based on what I am reading, but I've stayed in several fine hotels in the US. This one is much more fun than most. You will love your stay at any price, I'm sure. We went back a year later on our own tab. Ouch $ but what fun! \r My children were completely occupied, superbly supervised, and they loved their time there. That's a 5-star! We actually had time to enjoy ourselves. more

OH What fun! 11/14/2008

This hotel was absolutely, positvely amazing! The rooms were nice, they provided shuttles to each and every disney park everyday. It is a great hotel to stay at when in Disney. more

Very nice indeed 11/20/2007

Stayed here while we went to Universal Studios, which is literally minutes away. We were here during the off season so it wasn't crowded at all. Boy, was it nice!! I'd love to go back and stay for a week, that's how nice it was. Rooms were super clean, friendly staff, lots to do on the site, from what we saw. A really nice place to stay. We got a great deal through priceline, but it would've been very expensive I think otherwise. more

Excellent Stay 10/29/2006

I have stayed at many hotels in Orlando but this one was by far the best experience I've had. For a very affordable rate one can enjoy luxurious rooms, and excellent service and staff. Not only was everything perfectly clean and new, but it really did have that royal touch to it. The pool area was beautiful, and everything is in the hotel from restaurants to a little store to a fitness center and arcade, and everything was perfect. I honestly can say every time I visit Orlando now I will be staying most definately at this hotel no matter what. Highly Recommended if one wants to stay at a nice luxury hotel for a very affordable rate. Pros: The whole atmosphere and ambiance was superb. more

Crowne Plaza Universal ; Orlando, FL 5/12/2005

Things began wonderfully and went uphill from there... We pulled up and were promptly greeted by the very friendly valet staff. They grabbed our luggage and whisked the car off to wherever it would rest for the next few days (I think it's like $8 per day). There was a time or two I needed something out of it that I'd forgotten, like my cane, and Brian or one of the others would happily go fetch it. Seriously, they never rolled their eyes or gave any indication that I was being a pain in the butt at all.. even when I asked for my car only to change my mind after it was brought up to me. I adore this staff. The room itself was very nice. We had two full beds just filled with pillows and the most cushy duvet ever. The beds were extremely comfortable (although just a notch under the Eden Roc in Miami). There was no fridge or microwave in here, but we had a nice sized desk with high speed Internet (although not wireless, for that you have to go down to the lobby and sit). The bathroom more
