Welcoming hotel with outstanding service. 6/16/2011

I have always tried to stay at Crowne Plaza Hotels as they are welcoming and the service is outstanding. The stay was no different. There is an atmosphere of restfulness and ease when you enter, the staff that greets you is never without a smile and hello. The room was warm and welcoming as well with its colors and furnishings making you feel ""at home"". I ALWAYS have a truly restful, goodnights sleep on their marvelously comfortable mattress and REAL pillows (4 types to chose from on the bed). The little ""goodie bag"" with night mask, lavender mist spray, ear plugs and sleep CD is fantastic. This was my husbands first time at a Crowne Plaza and he found the experience fantastic all the way around. Quite taken in with the ""feeling"" of the room and service of the hotel. The staff is friendly and quick to attend to any of your needs. Matthew, the Front Desk Clerk who checked us in, was most helpful on several occasions with suggestions on restaurants/sites in the areas and directions. The food was delicious. Also, no small refrigerator in room, which was unusual, but able to cope with. We will be staying at a Crowne Plaza Hotel again,no doubt about it. more

I've stayed here a number of times over the last few months, and it's the best value for the price in the area -- very friendly and helpful staff, recently renovated hotel, good room service, etc. more

My husband and I stayed here on a weekend getaway. Our room was very spacious (king bed) and was full of ""extras"" - bottled water, a gift bag filled w/ a relaxation CD, eye mask, ear plugs, and lavender linen spray ... The bed was very comfortable, too! I would highly recommend this hotel. The lobby staff was also very friendly. more

The room was a steal. 6/3/2011

Upscale property that has been maintained exceptionally well. Room was very clean with new or like-new carpeting, white linens on the bed appeared new. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Shady Grove subway station is located only 1-2 miles away, and was extremely easy to get to from the hotel location. The best part of all was the great weekend rate. The room was a steal. more
