Crossroads Cafe recently opened in a small commercial building in Harriman, NY. It is the brainchild of four enterprising women who like to cook. The cafe is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and supper.
The communities of Harriman and Monroe Woodbury are experiencing tremendous growth spurts and new businesses seem to be popping up daily to meet the needs of the population. Crossroads is a welcome addition to the restaurant landscape especially since it offers a change from the typical deli fare.
I ate lunch there on a couple of occasions and was impressed by their tasty selections of foods. Salads--Caesar, Chef's, Fresh Mozzarella, Grilled Vegetable and Chicken were fresh, prepared to order and served promptly. The price was right, too--just $6.95 for a small platter which was very filling. Sandwiches and wraps--tuna, BLT, chicken, Italian combo, roast beef, cajun chicken and portabello w/mozzarella were also fresh tasting and satisfying. Crossroads also makes delicious paninis (rats to my diet).
Enjoy a breakfast pastry--croissant, scone, danishes and muffins from their bakery with a cup of coffee which is always fresh and hot.
There are daily specials and you can fax them an order and even have it delivered.
Welcome to the neighborhood, Crossroads Cafe!
