DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME - UNCARING 8/8/2011

I was referred to Dr. Cross by my psychologist and was told that there were no openings for more than a month. I made the appointment and waited. A few days before I was scheduled to go in, I received a message that my appointment was canceled and that the doctor would not take any more new patients. I would expect someone in her position to realize that she is dealing with people in emotional distress. What she did was unethical and unprofessional. I wasted a month waiting for this woman, in a very difficult time of my life, and now I have to start from scratch with a new doctor. She clearly lacks compassion -- not a good trait in a psychiatrist. more

HORRIBLE FRONT OFFICE STAFF!!!! Larchmont phyciatric Medical Clinic 6/30/2007

I found the Dr at Larchmount to be excellent. The staff however, told me there would be no way to have my \r medication refilled unless I came in for an appt.. At the time I was on location on a film so I could not. The medication was a high dose anti depressant that spacifically says to not stop taking it suddenly. The dosage should be taken down slowly. I left a message with the Dr. and she did refill my RX unfortunatly I was three days without the medication. Awful, Painful, wanted to die,weeping with atrophied musels and working 17 hour days. I hope that receptionist is not going through the same thing, at least the working part. Pros: Great Doctor Cons: HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, DANGEROUS STAFF more

Not very helpfull 3/8/2007

I have gone to this office for a couple months now and every time I go there something get screwed up. They lost my file, then they couldnt even get in touch with my insurance. This time I have had to wait almost a week for my presciption. I have had to call them a number of times going back and forth with them and the pharmacy. They have not been very helpfull. Save yourself the headache dont go to them. Cons: Cant funtion well more

Great doctor with an empathetic ear. 5/24/2006

she is very compassionate and open to listening to you, the patient. Her empathetic skills are exquisite. I like her a lot. I've been seeing her for about 2 years. She listens closely to your wants in terms of medication and respects your requests. She does not quickly medicate negative emotions. She is cautious and really good at finding a balance between medication, healthy experience of feelings, and therapy. I've never felt over or under medicated.
