Not sure of the history, but the place looks like it has been there for many, many years. Now that 234 has moved, I hope they don't go out of business. They have delicious sandwiches and we've never had problems with the quality of the product. The prices are in line with what you would pay in a grocery or market for shrimp, salmon, scallops, etc.. It's fun to go into because it's old and has a lot of character. Give me this kind of place over the sparkling, shiny store anyday..
