Crooked Creek is 5 mins. from my house, but I will never play there again. I had a 7:23am tee time this morning, for three. A fourth was paired - one of the volunteer starters. He was super nice, and very helpful with yardage and describing necessary approach shots. However, the Pro at Crooked Creek is much less helpful. Let me start by saying we finished in 4hrs 10mins today, and they were giving us grief because there was a gap in between us and the first two groups..even after we explained that we went off right on time with the first gruoups nowhere to be seen.. obviously there was another tee time that was a no show in between our groups. I have never seen a Pro ride around and hassle the patrons on pace of play, much less when the group behind us was nowhere to be seen.
Pros: Scenic, difficulty
Cons: Head Pro and staff!!, Use Drive once 10-18, Volunteer Staff
