Very Detailed 11/16/2013

Dave did a great job on my inspection. He arrived on time, was very detailed in his inspection of my condo, and demonstrated a great knowledge base of everything inside the unit. He was incredibly thorough. While inspecting the unit he answered my questions and offered his insight into repair costs and solutions for items that needed minor repairs. After he inspected the condo, I received a detailed report that also included useful information on the expected life of items like the water heater, wall heaters, etc., and it included useful home maintenance tips. As a first time homebuyer, Dave made me feel more comfortable in the unit I planned to purchase and the home buying process. more

Dave has done 4 inspections for us in the last 10 years and I've always been impressed with his knowledge base in construction. He has a sharp eye for things easily missed and is terrific in letting you know what he feels is a priority and what should be something to watch. He has a great attitude about him and is very easy to talk to - making the entire experience really enjoyable. more

Mr Pioli arrived on time and was very thorough in his review. The report was good but it did tend to lean into the "legalese", meaning he made sure to word everything so that he was not liable. It pains me to see our system requiring the CYA method due to the preponderance of lawsuit happy individuals. more

Crawl space, attic, roof, and every aspect of the house was looked at very closely. Took a bunch of pictures to show in the report. Very friendly with great customer service. more

Dave was friendly and thorough 3/27/2013

We were very pleased with Dave's services. He allowed us to shadow him, ask questions, and ask for further explanation on things, He never once said "It will be in the report." He took the time to explain things that were of concern to him and why and what we could expect for time and expense in repairs or if he was not sure, he would let us know some things were beyond his realm, which is totally fair. The report was also delivered even earlier than expected and charges were correct on my credit card. more

The inspector was prompt, even though we weren't. He did a thorough inspection, explained everything he found, but not in an "end of the world" way. Just in a simple matter of fact way. He was very pleasant and we would definitely recommend him. more

We have used Criterium - Pioli several times for both commercial and residential building inspections. They are very thorough and the written reports are clear. I have recommended them to others and will use them in the future. more
