Dr. Libby is so amazing. We used to go to Winchester Vet clinic but after our cat was diagnosed with diabetes and WVC charging us twice as much as they pay for the insulin, we HAD to look elsewhere to help our kitty cat out! Family friends recommended Dr. Libby to us and we regret not going there sooner. Tigger actually didn't mind going to the vet! and Dr. Libby sells you the products at a reasonable rate (I believe she only charged us what SHE paid for the insulin, her reasoning being: If you can't afford to treat them, you won't, and they won't live much longer because of that.) Thankfully she loves animals as much as ANY vet should, plus a little more. She came into the exam room, cuddles your pet, pets them, tells them how great they are, gives them kisses, and treats them with respect. When it came time to put our cat down, due to reasons even Dr. Libby couldn't change, she was so comforting and helpful in that time. Her kind words, reassurance that we were doing the right thing, and help along the way are something that someone CANNOT be taught. She's a very compassionate person, and extremely intelligent. She really "knows" animals and what's making them sick and how to fix and comfort them. Even though our beloved, Tigger, is no longer with us, we have 2 other pets we LOYALLY bring to her. My sister brings her dog and cat from Delaware (OH) to visit Dr. Libby.
Dr. Libby even went out of her way and mailed our family a card after she put our kitty to sleep. It was very comforting and let us know she was thinking of us and even though Tigger is not here--she will always love Tigger. For a vet to have the individual love for each pet as the owner does is TRULY special.
