Creative Center For Children

Walking into Creative Center for Children is like walking into a preschoolers dream. The play yard is always beautiful, well-taken care of and decorated. The teachers are friendly, loving and genuinely concerned about the welfare of the children. My two year old hugs and kisses his teacher as if he's known her for years (he just started three weeks ago) and my older son constantly comes home repeating things he's learned from his teachers about behavior and being a good citizen. They are taught using a hands-on approach. The children are always involved with their lessons, whether it's recycling, firetrucks/policemen coming to the school, seasons (they brought in actual snow in the winter and had a butterfly release in the spring). The director actually takes time out of her day to go to the classroom and teach Spanish to the children and my younger son's teacher plays the violin to them! I am so happy I made the choice to send my kids to CCC, because I'm convinced that they will be steps ahead of their schoolmates when they get to kindergarten, thanks to CCC. more

Creative center is not a good school anymore.Since 2012 ,Lily Telemantes was chosen as director by the New owners.(Mia & Evan Levy).She never listen to any parents .The wounderfull teacher of 14 years(Teacher Xochiti)\r just Quit last week.She was unhappy about 1/13 (and increasing on daily basis)adult/kids ratio & she could not tolerate a stubborn director . Now there are 24 kids with only one teacher.Toilets are stinky & full of germs .There are multiple falls & bumps for our kids ,while nobody knows what happened.Lily always say your child has balance problem to all the parents & when they complain about the ratio & hygiene ,she just say you can take your kid to another school if you are not happy.Such a mess.Lily refuses group meeting with parents.(She is an obvious dictator).Hopefully The owners kick her out of school before they will loose more money & reputation. more

In this preschool my daughters (now age 9 & 5) have been loved, respected and inspired to learn and grow. The teachers and directors are very gentle and patient when helping the 2 & 1/2-year-olds adjust to a new environment. We love the way art and music are incorporated into the curriculum. And the academics in the pre-K room are outstanding. The facility is very clean. The teachers are very experienced and lots of fun.There is excellent communication between teachers, parents and directors.This school is really well run. Pros: Perfect balance between academic & social learning more
