i will say, that at least Ms. Leemu is on time. But from there on. I had a problem. First of all, Ms. Leemu will ""start"" your hair if it's a simple style. But she has her ""assistants"" come in do most of her work. The first time i came in for an appt. she said she would do my hair? Nope, her assistant Joyce, took down my hair, and finished it.\r
\r
The disadvantage of this, Joyce is not as fast as Ms. Leemu, thus, you'll stay over a few hours. Another problem is the incessant talking in their language.\r
\r
When i came back for another appt. i wanted a box braid style. Ms. Leemu agreed after i showed her the pic of what i wanted. She and her assistant began they're talking, when i noticed they were both doing these tiny microbraids instead of the box braids and leaving 1/2 of the hair dangling out. i stopped them, and asked what were they doing..i showed them the pic again - and Ms. Leemu shows me a pic of what she THOUGHT i wanted.. That 1/2 braided ""yak tail"" look..\r
\r
I told her that wasn't what i wanted, and she tells me, ""Well, i will have to charge you $100 more to braid the hair down to the tip"".it was a shoulder length style...Why did i have to pay $100 for what i requested in the first place? which was only $125.00? Plus she charged me $120 for the human hair which was softer, then after braiding a while said the synthetic hair would have been just as good..and it was cheaper..\r
\r
by the time i was done, it was 8 hrs. of listening to Joyce and Ms.Leemu incessantly yacking.while Leemu is nursing her newborn - in the damn shop,of all places....i believe if Joyce would have not spoken, she would have gotten the job done a lot quicker..but they can't shut up and work...I came in for a $125.00 hairstyle, and wound up shelling out $350.00..for the hair, the take down, and for the extra braiding - that should have been in the total cost from the beginning..\r
\r
i will not be heading back to that place again...
Pros: they are on time
Cons: the constant yacking in their language and not listening to what the customer wants
