Creations by You truly supports your creativity and shows you how to imagine above and beyond. They have a lot of different examples to show you how to make your own crafts. The staff is also very friendly and talented. They will help you contruct what you need for your project. The store however is really stuffy and small. more

Tons of creativity there! 10/5/2005

This is a family owned craft store and the owners are very friendly and super creative. They always have new ideas and help you with whatever you have in mind. The store however, has too much stuff inside or else, they need to expand. It is so packed that you can only have one person per isle otherwise, you will probably be stuck if you're not skinny enough. They do have a wide variety of materials to choose from and the prices are decent. I usually go there if I know what I want to pick up so i don't spend too much time there because it can be stuffy. more

A small local craft store in Kalihi 8/20/2005

Here is a tiny little craft store across the street from Masu's massive plate lunch on the corner of Liliha and Kuakini. Before the kids came the wife would go to this store pretty frequently for everything from beads to ribbons. The little place is jam packed from floor displays to the ceiling with craft supplies. Store carries everything imaginable for the crafty bride 8/20/2005

This is a haven for the lover of crafts and the DIYers. It does cater to those who want to be more involved in the details of their wedding so there is a limitless selection of supplies to create invitations and favors, among other things. I bought vellum, cardstock, ribbon, and a cute little hibiscus hole-puncher at CBY to try my hand at making my own invitations. They actually came out nice! If you wish to save a little money and add a bit more personal, creative touch, definitely see if a DIY project for invitations is possible. CBY also made me a custom ring pillow -- very affordable and in line with the Hawaiian feel I wanted for my wedding. more
