We visited this place on Saturday July 12, 2008 at 6 pm. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. The entire restaurant was filled with smoke despite the ""no smoking"" section. My main gripe is about my dish of broiled ""scallops"" and shrimp. Out came a dish with 3 shrimp and about 20 ""scallops"" hidden in some nasty yellow sauce. The scallops were some processed, foul-tasting, rubbery mess - most likely stamped stingray or skate fin from what I've read. They were not real scallops. I know my seafood and must admit that I was insulted by the fact that they tried to pass off this stuff as scallops at $23 per entree. This place prides themselves on seafood as much as they do steaks, so this was very unexpected. In addition, the waitress we had had no clue how anything was prepared. I asked about the Crab Imperial - which was my first choice - and all I got was, ""I don't know, it's prepared ahead of time."" This place is a joke. Drive the extra miles and go into Gettysburg to the Dobbin House instead.
Pros: Close to our hotel
Cons: Fake scallops, unknowledgeable waitress, smoke-filled atmosphere.
