Worst Food! 8/7/2010

Worst chicken and dumpling I have ever had, hard stiff rather than light and fluffy dumplings. Canned Green been, come on, can't you do fresh! even the corn bread was bad or was it my bad attitude by then. Only the cole slaw was fair, not exceptional by no means. I paid for my dinner, because it was my mistake to order such a bad choice. I thought the signature dish should be the best, ugh! more

If you have never eaten here then you don't know what you are missing! This place has down home cooking at its best! How about some chicken and dumplin's? Fried chicken? Pork chops? Roast beef? They have got it all! You also get a little peg game to play while waiting for your food so time goes by quicker. And be sure to check out their country store for jams, sauces, candles, dog clothing, housewares and many more items. Be sure to get here early to get a seat because this place fills up quick! They have a lot of parking available. more

O LOVE THE CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS AND CHEESE HASHBROWN AND THERE IS TO MUCH TO MENTION IT ALL . THE WAITRESS ARE ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE RESTURANT IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND THE PRICES ARE VERY GOOD. I CAN NEVER EAT EVERYTHING I ORDER. THE STORE IS REALLY GREAT. THEY HAVE ALOT OF UNUSAL ITEMS. A GREAT PLACE TO GO TO FIND A GIFT. more
