Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Last night was our second and last time to eat at the Cracker Barrel by the RDU airport. First time was over 6 months ago an they had horrible fod then, it was undercooked and cold. This tme the eggs were also under cooked and asked for the bacon to be extra crispy. It came out so limp and definitely not extra crispy, they forgot to put part of my food on the plate, it was the fried apple dish. Sent the plate back to have the eggs cooked and bacon crispy, while my wife gets to eat her plate and i sit there hungry as could be. The waitress brings my plate back and all they did was cook my eggs and bacon longer and gave me the same plate back, needless to say now everything else was stone cold!!!! and still no fried apple dish. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE the manager just takes my dish off the bill, no offer to give me anything else or apology that your wife got to eat but you had a horrible meal and oh there were egg shells in my eggs too!!!!!! Has to be the worst Cracker Barrel ever!!!!!!!!! BEWARE eat here at your own risk more

The servers were all so nice, the food was great. We really enjoyed the Fish Fry there. They only have it one friday nights. Everyone there was so nice. I know we will go back and visit them again. Pros: The food and The Severs Cons: No reservations accepted more

My family and I have gone to this one for years. Cracker Barrel -- good comfort food in a pinch. Service is a 'B', food 'B', atmosphere 'B'. One more than one occasion our food arrived lukewarm. Most visits though service has been good and food arrives quickly and proper temp/taste. Get the meatloaf, we've never missed with that one. Pros: good comfort food Cons: no cons stand out more

I went to the cracker barrel around 8:30 am 04-06-05. They greeted me at the door and the hostess was nice. Our waitress came and she seem to be okay. My husband and I sat there for about 20 minutes before we got our drinks mean while people that came in after us had there drinks and then got there food before we did. At that time we decided to leave and the waitress said oh we are really busy, No that is not true when people around us that came in after us had drinks and food before us. I talk to the manager, she did offer to give us free food but I declined it cause by that time I just wanted to leave. We ended up staying there about 40 to 45 minutes and never got our food on our table. Bad day at the cracker barrel. more

The food is wonderful, just watch out for the seveice. They seem like the don't know what they are doing. Most of the time you won 't have anything to drink and if you want something tell them all at once bc they won't come back to the table for at least 20 min. Other then that it's a great place!
