good food 4/25/2006

We ate at the Cracker Barrel last summer on our way throug htown. We had about a ten minute wait and we spent that browsing through the store in front. Lots of fun gifts, toys and nice clothing items. Affordable prices. The food was outstanding, just like grandma used to make. Large portions and made to order. I had a steak and it was so juicy and tender. My husband had a burger and he said it was excellent! Very fun atmosphere and very family friendly, we had two small children with us and they made them feel just as welcome as we were! more

Not impressed 4/10/2006

Every time relatives come in from out-of-town, they all comment on how lucky we are to have a Cracker Barrel. So, we finally went there for breakfast, and everything was totally bland. Definitely a chain. Portions were small for the price, too. It seemed to us that the main purpose of the restaurant was to draw you in to look at the stuff in the gift shop. I guess it worked: I did buy something. more

Great country food with a nice atmosphere. 4/4/2006

I love the Cracker Barrel. They have the best macaroni and cheese, and hashbrown casserole. My boyfreind absolutly loves this resteraunt. They have a little store in the front so that you can spend your time waiting in the shop or relaxing in their country looking dinning area. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. We love eating at the Cracker Barrel! more
