Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I was very impressed with customer service at this location. I felt like the gift shop attendants were genuinely interested in helping me, and did not seem rushed even though there was a good size dinner crowd. The food is incredible as always! By far the best cracker barrel I have been to! more

This is pretty much the only Cracker Barrel in the Huntsville/Madison area, so it is usually very crowded, even on weeknights. We have been twice fairly recently. The first time was 8 pm on a Friday night--it was a lot more crowded than we expected. We didn't have to wait very long, though. Unfortunately, we did choose first available and ended up in the smoking section. It was very poorly ventilated. The service was a little slow with refilling drinks, etc. The food was good, though. The second time, we went on a weeknight and didn't have to wait for a table. I made sure to choose "nonsmoking", but it was still a little smoky. (The smoking and nonsmoking areas are only divided by a partition). The food was good, service a bit better. I really hate the smokiness, though. more
