Very casual tiki bar that still has a family friendly atmosphere. \r

Relax by the water under the stars, have a few beers, enjoy some great music, and eat. Our Friday night wait for a table for two at 8pm was 45 minutes. It was during our wait that I started wishing I had brought some mosquitto spray. Once seated it took over 15 minutes before anyone showed up to take our drink order. But, since a great blues and oldies band was playing we didn't mind. The prices were reasonable and the serving sizes average. The large menu seemed like it would please everyone with choices from burgers, salads, and wraps to salmon, oysters, shrimp, and chicken. My husband had the scallops and buffalo shrimp and raved about both. My grilled shrimp and onion rings were cooked perfectly. \r

It was a pretty hot summer night so the outdoor scenery had me using a paper plate as a fan. They did have ceiling fans, but we weren't feeling the breeze. \r

While the heat and poor service were a downer, all the positives more than made up for it. The band was great, I can't say enough about them. If you want to talk and chat then maybe this isn't the place for you as the music was on the loud side. Lots of people were dancing and a few sing alongs took place. Everyone was just really friendly. The tiki bar atmosphere and decorations set the tone for a relaxing night. We are looking forward to taking our out of town guests to this little jem. We both agreed that we'd warn them before hand that the service might be lacking. Still, we have already decided that we'll be back... long wait and all. It was a great end to a long and stressful week.
Pros: Food, Ambience, Music, Prices, Outdoors on the water
Cons: Service, Plastic Silverware, Florida heat
