Great shoes, not so good knitting 5/13/2011

Great shoes and clothes. The yarn is good quality. The knitting help is sometimes helpful, but sometimes snotty. Gotta follow their rules. more

Great Selection of Dansko Shoes! 6/21/2007

Cozy is a wonderful little place with beautiful jewelry, unique gifts, great pocketbooks, and an awesome selection of Dansko shoes. I am amazed no one else has mentioned this since they have a huge selection for such a little place! I love visiting ninth street just to check out their latest selection of Dansko's and if you are lucky....you may even catch them on sale.....which is typically unheard of. more

A lovely way to window shop 10/15/2006

Cozy's has an electic choose of gifts from bags and clothes to art and clocks. I enjoyed trying on their gorgeous hats and looking at the jewelry. The store is small but well laid out. Although I was not lucky enough to hit a big sale here, I was told that when they do have sales here, you get to select a card out of a bowl that tells you how much you get off your purchases that day (15%, 30%, EVEN 50%!!) It's definitely worth the visit if you're not sure what to get for a friend but know you want it to be unique and memorable. They do offer knitting classes now and have a big selection of yarn for those who are so inclined. Most of the items were out of my price range (and I'm used to shopping in NYC!) but it was a nice store with helpful staff that I would visit again. more

Unique 12/8/2005

I love visiting Cozy. It really is cozy. Besides unique clothing, there are a lot of things for hobbyists. They have items for you to make your own jewelry like semi precious stones, etc. My favorite is the knitting section. They have a wonderful selection of yarns. On some days you'll find people (even children) at the table knitting. Since I'm not such a great knitter I'm fascinated by what they are making. I didn't inquire if they hold classes there which I think would be great. The only thing is a lot of the items are pricey. To me, some are worth it but then some aren't....I guess just a matter of preference. more

A place you can get lost in for hours 9/30/2005

The owner of this wonderful store was originally the owner of Vaguely reminiscent in Durham. She opened this new store, which is laid out much better. There is lots of walking around space and something to fill every corner. There are a lot of womens clothing and shoes, but also incredibly beautiful jewelry and crafts. The back of the store is devoted to knitting and I think they have some of the most beautiful and unique yarns you can find. I highly recommend stopping by and taking some time to really see all they have to offer. more
