steaks not up to par 2/27/2009

Cowcathers has a great atmosphere and furnishings. The food is good, not memorable. The biggest complaint I have is that the steaks taste too generic. When I go out to eat a steak at a steakhouse, I want some flavor and thickness. I will return, but if the steaks do not get appreciably better, not too many times. Pros: ambiance, building, country setting Cons: steaks do not have enough flavor more

Pros: I am the owner I have a positive outlook. we charge less for our dinners than some of our competitors cahrge for just their steak, large servings, no a la cart. Great ambiance, over 76,000 served Cons: WE are not perfect but work to provide good service and a plesant experience for all our guests.. more

Poor Service, Show food 1/25/2008

I have tried Cow Catchers 3 different time. Steaks are good, Service is very slow. You can expect this to become a night excursion (1-3hrs). You wait an average of 1 hr even if there are tables avail. If you complain expect an even longer wait. Management is only concerned with there friends and act as if you owe them something for walking in there door. more
