My son just started guitar lessons this summer (had about 7 lessons now) and we couldn't be happier with the teacher and the convenience of in-home lessons. The family (Courtneys) that owns the business was very helpful and professional and even assisted us in purchasing the appropriate sized and priced guitar. We were able to start right away without waiting for the school year to start, which was great as my son was dying to get started. Yes, they are a little more pricy than I would have liked, but I thought I would try them anyway as they were highly recommended by a friend, and I am so glad we did. I think it will be worth it in the long run as my son loves the material he is working on and the lessons, and I love the fact that I am not having to haul books, guitar and kids and drive anywhere in this fun Atlanta afternoon traffic! My children and I both have taken piano and voice lessons from various places around Atlanta, and let me tell you, Courtnay and Rowe is by far the best company that we have ever worked with. The teachers are all extremely knowledgable and well versed in the full spectrum of music. After our first lesson it was completely evident that the teacher's are passionate about music and love what they do. The My children never wanted to practice before, but now they actually enjoy the music and practice for hours because they love it. We used to take piano and learned the Suzuki method, but found that you can only get to a point with that method and then you plateau out. Courtnay and Rowe's teaching method actually allows for you to progress with the music and continue learning. This is by far the best experience that we have ever had with music lessons and will be with Courtnay and Rowe for many years to come!
