I have been using Amy's dry cleaning on Monroe Street in Loveland for about 3 years. The employees and owners are always very helpful and I have had no complaints. I recently dropped off a suit that had a substantial amount of cash in the inside pocket and I forgot to take it out. Needless to say I was pretty stressed when I realized what I had done. Thankfully the owners at Amy's' are honest people and returned the money in full to me. It's nice to see that there are still honest people in the world and not everyone is out to rip people off. Being a small business owner myself I can appreciate what they did. You have a customer for life! more

EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND SERVICE. Do not drop off your clothes here. You will save yourself time, money, and ultimately frustration. I dropped off a number of items at the Harmony location at the end of January. One of these items was a very nice dress, that retails for $200 through Nordstroms. It's a hand beaded dress, by a designer that sells her clothes through the store. While dropping off my dress, I specifically asked the young lady at the front whether or not it was safe to clean the dress. She replied ""Oh! Yes of course. It should be fine"". Wrong. I go to pick up my clothes, pay for the amount, and as I walk out to my car, I notice a trail of thread coming off of my dress sandwiched in between the other clothes (they didn't even bother to put it in it's own bag). As I take out the dress, i notice even more thread, and then that there are entire rows of beading completely ripped off from all over the dress. It was destroyed. \r \r The only thing more frustrating then that however, is the MONTH it took me to get a hold of the owner, Amy, to get the issue resolved. I would call, they would tell me she's working on it. They would tell me she's waiting for more information. Finally almost a month later I call furious, and I'm told they can't find the dress so they dismissed the matter...They couldn't find the dress, because they sent it home with me. However, if they couldn't find the dress, why wasn't I called and told?! Finally I'm forced to drive 30 minutes out to the location where Amy works, to talk to her. Where she basically tells me I'm SOL, they aren't responsible for beading mishaps as it clearly states on the receipt. I look at the front of the receipt, nothing. The ""clearly stated information"" on the receipt is located on the back, in size 1 font, in GREY. About as clear as fog. At this point I'm livid, and Amy tells me that because of the circumstances, they will go ahead and give me a refund for the dress. However they can only give me 10 times the amount I paid to have it cleaned, but that I'm more than welcome to take the dress. How generous of you. Your employee destroys an article of clothing assuring me it will be ok, beats around the bush for a month to fix the issue, and then in the end I'm the lucky owner of a destroyed designer dress and half the money it actually cost to buy it. \r \r Save yourself the headache and drop your clothes off somewhere else. more

Responsible and reliable local company 11/19/2011

I have been using Amy's since they opened and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Our clothes are always returned to us in great condition and the short time frame they require to get an item cleaned is remarkable. Yesterday I dropped off a blouse and picked it up the same day! Amy's customer service is far greater than any other store in the area. Recently Amy made a donation to a fundraiser we were having with a smile on her face and a genuine concern for our cause. I only wish there were more local companies like this one! more

Goodness 4/15/2011

I am writing as an employee. I happen to know the incidences of two of the negative reviews, one was simply confused and the other is a gross misrepresentation of what happened. Not that a human doesn't occasionally make a mistake, but we rectify things within reason (and sometimes without it)\r \r We actually do care. We offer good service. People who can't be kind to customers don't last long here. Not to mention, Amy actually does concern herself with what concerns you. I know, I sound like my nose is brown, but it's not. These are good people. Most of our customers love us but no one hops on here unless they have an ax to grind. Sad.\r \r I am a single mom and my kid would have missed her Christmas without Amy's help. My workplace is full of good folks. We're nice and helpful and will bend over backwards when it's an option. Plus, we cost less than the toxic cleaners down the street. more

Poor Poor and poor 11/22/2010

I give them a big fat zero! my shirts were scorched\r , suits very poorly pressed and coffee stains still remained on both pair of docker pants. When i tried to complain the only question amy had for me over the phone was "well, how many times have you been here?" (it was my fourth visit, i was trying to give them a chance) She offered no remedy needless to say i will not be returning more

BEWARE! 10/13/2010

In less than a year, we have lost 2 shirts, been overcharged for alterations (even when they were not fully completed). \r \r And just recently we took in a pair of pants to be fixed, when we went to pick them up they had yet to be fixed; however they were sure to charge us for the repair. So we had to take them back, explained the situation to the Owner, and she told me they would be ready at the end of the week. When we went to pick them up we were CHARGED AGAIN!!!! DOUBLE CHARGED! This is the last straw.\r \r Do not, I repeat DO NOT go to here! more

Good dry cleaning, bad customer service 9/6/2010

When I brought my dry cleaning in, I left 2 cedar hangers with the suit and dress, hoping to save them some hangers. The woman I dealt with, Irene, asked if I wanted to take my hangers. I'd said to just hang the clothes back up on them, but that I did want them returned. She agreed, but apparently forgot to write that on the ticket. Upon picking up my dry cleaning, the hangers were not there. Susana advised she would be calling me the next day to let me know what was going on with them. We did not hear from her at all, and called 5 days later. She said that they hadn't found them, but would have Amy call back. Upon calling back, Amy said that they might have found one of them, but refused to pay for the missing hanger(s). She didn't seem to care that her employee had said that the hangers would come back with the clothing, and also didn't seem to care that we were paying customers, nor that we could be continuous clientele. All in all, I feel like Amy had no regard for my upset that she did not take any responsibility for her employee's mistake, nor did she care about losing my business. Yes, I gave her business 2 stars, rather than 1. The dry cleaning was done properly, and I do acknowledge that. However, the customer service left a LOT to be desired. I'm sorry to say that I won't be using her service again, and I will make sure to let others know that they shouldn't use her service, either. more
