County Animal Hospital has been our Vet for 39 years. Dr Wiener for at least the last 25 years and Dr Beck before that. We have always felt especially comfortable with the services. When a service is beyond their facility there never is a hesitation to make a referral. Dr. Beck has an exceptional bed side manner. he takes personal interest in our dogs. From a fees point of view, I would not say County is the cheapest in the county nor are the fee the most expensive. Worst vet ever!!! Dr. Weiner is a fool and an AH. 8/6/2011

This place is so over priced and for nothing. Dr. Weiner needs to go back to school. He also needs to learn how to speak with people. He's very rude. Not happy at all. For a basic office visit it cost almost $400....and the Dr. attempted several times to push more tests that were not necessary just to try and push the bill higher. Rip off scam artist. Trust me, STAY AWAY.... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! more

Best Vet for your Pet 3/17/2011

This is the best veterinary hospital around. They have kept my dogs alive after cancer scares, liver problems, dystemper and throat cancer. You could not possibly find a kinder group of people and Dr. Weiner is beyond wonderful. He knows everything about any animal you can bring in. If you love your pet, you'll pick this Vet. more

    County Animal Hospital (CAH) is located in Rockland County, NY, just 10 minutes north of the Mario Cuomo Bridge and a 30-minute drive northwest of Manhattan. CAH is privately owned and has a rich history and heritage. Robert Weiner, VMD, Diplomate ABVP (canine/feline), has been here since 1981.

    Our practice is open 6 days a week (Mon-Sat). CAH is an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited hospital providing medical, surgical, dental, nutritional and behavioral care. Our patients include dogs, cats, birds, and some exotics.
