Countryside Animal Clinic

My pooch Bailey has been at this clinic twice: once for a routine exam/ vaccines, and recently for her ""first"" dental check up/cleaning. I am more than pleased with the care that Bailey has received. Dr. Favale is a very caring, trusting, professional. He is passionate about the care he provides to all of his ""patients "" animals and their owners. His many years of experience in his practice of veterinary medicine spoke for itself in the care that he provided Bailey with. My girls were impressed with Dr. Favale, esp with his gentle mannerism, knowledge. I will recommend Countryside Animal Clinic to everyone who owns a dog or cat! more

Took a stray cat there to be examined, spayed etc. Dr. Favale was very compassionate, professional and affordable! Spent a lot of time with kitty. Dr. Favale relates so well with animals and with their owners. Excellent animal clinic. Fantastic experience. Highly recommend. more

This clinic is under new and awesome ownership. There is an extremely experienced and GOOD vet practicing there now, Dr. Favale. He demonstrates excellent clinical skills and far-reaching knowledge of animal behavior. I would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone. more

Over a four month period my dog developed a bad skin infection. The infection spread to his eyes and ears and finally his feet. The poor dog could hardly walk. After spending over $1100.00 and seeing the dog suffer with one thing after another I took him to another vet at the Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital. The vet wasn't rushed. He gave the dog a complete examination and changed all medications. Countryside Animal Hospital is only interested in money not quality animal care. I was even charged to have my dogs records sent to Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital. If you love your animal go someplace else. more

Dr. Swanson has taken wonderful care of my three dogs for years. He is the best vet I have ever gone to. His prices are reasonable and he is so caring about the animals. more

Took my cat there because he had a very bad cough and he was gasping for air. Dr. Swanson said it could be anything and it would take a battery of test that would cost $300 to $500 TO START. He then told me how common cancer was in cats and scared me to death.He never even took the cats temperature. I took my cat home and watched him suffer and gasp for air for two more days before I had enough money to get a second opinion. Went to Village Animal Clinic and they took his temperature which was very high and indicates an infection.They also took a lung X-ray and found that he also has asthma ,which is also very common in cats. They gave him two shots and he hasn't coughed since. They not only saved his life,but they saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a battery of unnecessary tests. I think Dr. Swanson at the Countryside Animal Clinic should take his forty years of experience and retire. Thank God I got a second opinion. Cons: Unecessary tests that cost a fortune more
