I take my long-haired cat there for grooming. The owner does it and she really has a knack for handling cats. My husband and I aren't able to clip the cat's claws or brush him well enough to keep mats from forming. So we visit Countryaire once or twice a year and they're very friendly and helpful and our cat is a lot more comfortable afterwards (no mats) and so are we (shorter claws!) We don't have a dog so we don't have experience with the kenneling part of the business, but their facilities in general look clean and they're very conscientious people so if we had a dog, I wouldn't hesitate taking it there for boarding. more

We have boarded our Choc Lab here twice. The last time being a year ago for a week. We boarded for 12 days 2 yrs ago. Everytime our dog came back to us very happy and content. We paid for the extra walking and playtime. The kennels were VERY clean and air conditioned. I liked that the kennel we had a brick wall between the cages with a wire front. They also had private access to an outdoor area. It was very quiet when we visited because the dogs couldn't see each other unless they were outside. I'd definetly recommend this kennel. We are calling to set up another visit for July. more

I was so pleased with the care the staff at Countryaire gave our dog and us.. We had to leave our dog for 1 week, and had never kenneled her. I was a nervous wreck. They walked her and spent time with her, and placed her in a kennel with smaller dogs.When I would call to check on her, the staff knew her, explained how she was adjusting, and particulars that they could only know if they had really been interacting with her. She was happy and looked very well cared for when we picked her up. I would certainly recommend them. more

Love this place. Lots of rooms for dogs to run, great grooming service, nature walks, etc. Just like a hotel for dogs. Pros: Wonderful, friendly staff more

Countryaire Kennels is the only facility i have ever used and is one of the best. I have brought my Bulldogs here time and again, and have been pleased with their care and the offerings for them. I highly reccommend them for the care of your cat or dog when the need arises. Pros: Kindness and cleanliness more

The staff is friendly & helpful! They allow tours. The kennels are clean, air-conditioned & cozy. The animals were happy & energetic. My dog did not have any kennel stress upon his return home. This kennel is on at least 40 acres of land & offers a nature walk. The facility is clean & the grounds are beautiful. During my visits to this kennel, the staff was always friendly & busy walking the animals or cleaning the facility...so you know your pet will get the play time, walks & exercise you pay for. This is a family owned & operated busines & it shows. These people know animals & they care! They are animal lovers & you will notice this the moment you pull into their driveway! I have nothing but good things to say about this kennel. I live in Milwaukee, but the drive was WELL worth it. I will continue to patronize this kennel & recommend it highly to anyone who has cats or dogs. You get what you pay for & more with this kennel! more

I LOVE this kennel. This is a family owned & operated kennel. The staff is very friendly! They are true animal lovers... you will notice this the moment you pull into their driveway. I live in Milwaukee, but it was well worth the drive. Tours are allowed daily . The kennels were clean, air conditioned & cozy. This kennel is on 30 plus acres of land & actually offers a nature walk for your pet!! You will get what you pay for & more with this kennel. Each time I have visited this kennel, the staff is always busy cleaning, walking & grooming the pets. I was pleased to see how happy the animals were while boarding with this kennel. Psychologically, my dog appeared happy when I picked him up. He looked clean, healthy & happy upon my return. He did not have any kennel stress upon his return home. There were also other customers picking up their dogs on the morning I was there for pickup. Their pets were also happy & energetic that morning. The rates are excellent & the quality the best. It is one of the cleanest kennels I have toured ( I have toured MANY)! I have nothing but good things to say about this kennel & the staff. These people know animals & they care & it shows! I will continue to patronize this kennel & will recommend it highly to all of my friends who have dogs & cats! THE BEST!
