I got a great cut, a beer and watched the game; what more could a guy ask for. The atmosphere is great, you'll find it to be friendly, welcoming, and professional. My 2 boys and I go in there to get our haircuts and come out looking great, and will continue to get our haircuts from County Square Barber Shop. more

The Country Square Barber Shop is located just a couple blocks from home and my son's father had been there before, so we decided to see if they were willing to give my son his first haircut. My son is 21months old and I myelf was a little aprehensive. Fortunatley these guys were great. He was patient and skilled enough to cut hair on a ""moving target."" They even switched the channel from golf, so my son could watch Sponge Bob! He really helped my son feel at ease and gave him a great cut with style! All at a great price! more

My first posting on City Search. Such a great experience that I have to add to the three positive reviews (the only reviews so far). These other customers obviously had a similar experience to mine: Tyler is a nice guy; makes you feel at home; explained why my hair should be cut a certain way; and executed flawlessly -- The best haircut I've ever had. It wasn't one of those one size fits all cuts, it was a custom job just for my head shape and type of hair and I left feeling like a million bucks. I didn't provide a lot of guidance, but asked Tyler to cut my hair the way he thought it should be cut. Is it too much to say he's an artist? Regardless, I'll be going back and encourage anyone who has never found the right cut to give this guy a shot...you won't believe what you get for the same money you'd pay at one of the stripe mall ""cookie cutter"" places. The first time Tyler cut my hair, he got it perfect! I have been to many barbers and ""hair stylists"" who simply do what they want to.... including lots of flower smelling stuff! NOT at this shop... It's for men who want to talk about how good so and so looks in a bikini, or about the game playing on the TV. Best of all he serves good beer.. not the cheap stuff.. I have been going to Tyler for my haircuts ever since my son was old enough to have hair to cut. We look forward to heading to Tylers for a father-son adventure. Tyler does a phenomenal job of running a professional shop. Not only does he provide an excellent haircut for my two sons and I, but he is an all around good guy that keeps the conversation going about the Blazers, current events, or whatever may be on your mind. In an era of expansion and depersonalization, its nice to know that you can rely on a local barber who knows you by name and always does his best to make you happy. Highest recommendations! more

It's a great place where everybody knows your name. Tyler is the best of the two barbers and is the owner. He does everything from long hair, to awesome mohawks, to head and face shaves. You cannot find a better shop or nicer barber in Lake Oswego. more
