My boyfriend who is in Atlanta, GA ordered a dozen red roses with extra babies breath for me for Valentines Day from Country Meadows Floral. He put all his trust in this company to make my V-day special since we could not be together. They were delivered to me at my parents house like they had been frozen for a couple days before delivered. They were brown and crusty around the tips of the roses. I still took extra care of them, cutting and watering and feeding everyday, kept them away from to much heat or light. I called the company 2 days after V-day and spoke with Ginger, telling her that my roses were not opening. She said the type of roses they get are the ones that are extra tight and take longer to open and that I should wait a couple more days. Well, I waited till the 19th which was a Monday and called her again telling her the same thing. THE ROSES ARE NOT OPENING! She then began to tell me that they only have a 48 hour warrenty on the roses........I told her thats why I called on friday to tell you about them. I was getting a little upset and she told me to bring them in the following day. So, here I go with a dozen red/brown roses into Country Meadows and she looked at them gave me new babies breath and said there is nothing wrong with the roses and to enjoy them. Well, a couple days after all that fiasco, THEY DIED. I didnt even get to enjoy them open. My boyfriend spent $80 plus $12 for delivery for roses that were dead to begin with! My mother got roses from Lowes Garden and they were GORGEOUS, my niece got roses from Flower box and they were GORGEOUS.....they opened and got to enjoy them for about a week.
So buyer beware of these SO CALLED extra tight roses.....WHAT A JOKE!! Stay away from Country Meadows Floral!!!
