I usually do not take the time to write a review, let alone a negative one, but from playing professionally as a musician for over 25 years, I am writing this review as a caution to any musicians that may play at Country Lakes, and folks that may have their wedding there.\r

First off, the manager is the owner... She was very rude and demanding, along with the staff, with petty comments and tasks they kept on telling the band, while setting up and throughout the night...\r

We were the first ones in, as you can expect, to setup the equipment for the wedding reception. The hall smelled terrible... like an old folks home... The setup was terrible from a msuician's perspective.... The wedding was about 400 people, and the dance floor is off to the side. The hall is setp like an L... \r

The owner/manager inisited the band stop at 11:45pm, since they booked the hall till 12am, so that gives them enough time to get rid of the guests... Also, the onwer/manager had the rent-a-cop (nice
