Went to eat there and one of the waitresses hit on my fiancee and asked to meet him in the back...this is supposed to be a family place. Very sad. more

Two Different Restaurants! 12/5/2008

There has been some confusion between two similarly named restaurants. The lower rated restaurant is called Country COOKIN', which is on Timberlake Road (they have the salad bar and buffet). However, Country KITCHEN on Lakeside Drive is a local favorite! It's a small, privately owned restaurant with excellent "down home" cooking. They always seem to be busy due to their popularity, but the service is fast and great. Remember, try Country KITCHEN, not Country COOKIN'. more

Country Kitchen Restaurant 10/31/2006

I don't like the Country Kitchen Restaurant at all. We have gone there at least three times in the last year, and each time, we say we're not going back. However, something happens and we end up going back. I guess we hope it is going to get better. It never does. But this time, we mean it. The buffet bar lacks a lot. They are not friendly that much in this place, and when I asked when more things would be brought to the salad bar, I was told, "Not sure." Needless to say, nothing was ever brought while we were there. Yep, this time we mean it. We won't be going back. more

not much here.. 4/5/2006

This is just okay... not much food to choose from. Last I saw was just some fried chicken on the buffet. Yawn. The salad bar was limited too. Not much good to say about this place. My dad tried to cash a travelers cheque here and they hemmed and hawed over it. So I'm over this place. more
