In the heart of the Poconos, PA, stands the World's Largest General Store, Country Junction. http://countryjunction.com/ From Sept. 30 through Oct. 29, Country Junction hosts the GREAT Pocono Pumpkin Festival. There is nothing super high tech, nothing fancy BUT at the festival you can find pumpkins galore, hay rides, petting farms, food, a fun house, fright nights and so much more. It is so much fun for the kids and adults alike. Country Junction, itself, is quite literally the WORLD'S LARGEST General Store. They have everything there from food to fine furnishings to home decorating and holiday items to toys to taxidermy. The atmosphere is quaint and very country, the employees seem so happy and are helpful and friendly. When I was there I fell in love with it and I cannot wait to return. more

I have never been in another place like Country Junction. They sell literally everything here. They have some really nice furniture on the second floor. They have odd and housewares on the first floor. A Restaurant, pets, you name it. Scattered throughout are these animatronic displays which are really strange but kitschy. You can easily spend an afternoon poking around all that country Junction has to offer. I had a lot of fun! more
