i found a bright red Chevy Cobalt here under $10,000, which was my limit. I felt that I was treated fairly and the buying process went as smooth as possible.

Worst

I had a great experience with this dealership.\r I came in with a very limited budget and I didn't think I would find a car here because they have a lot of really nice upper-end cars on the lot. The sales person, Shona, worked hard to find me a car. She showed me several that would have worked and were in my budget range but nothing that I was truly excited about. She wasn't being pushy about selling me a car instead she was working hard to find me a car I wanted. With the help of Tony ( I hope I got his name right) they found an 04 Dodge Durango. It was perfect, but it was too expensive.\r This is were I have to say this place is amazing. If I hadn't bought the vehicle I'm sure they would have sold it very quickly at the price they wanted, the asking price was fair. They worked with financing, gave me an exceptional deal on my trade-in and then brought the price down to something that I could comfortably afford.\r To top it off, the vehicle needed new brakes, they put new brakes on(including NEW rotors) and put two new front tires.\r David, in financing is awesome and the they have their own garage which does excellent work.\r People are quick to condemn when something doesn't go well with a business and buying a used car is stressful. I've seen the negative comments left about this dealership and I can't speak to those issues. I can say that I truly believe this a great dealership to do business with. They have great cars at fair prices, I feel that they are honest with excellent business ethics and offer exceptional customer service. \r I highly recommend Country Hill Motors. more

Buyer Beware: This company will sell you an unsafe vehicle. Do not put your family at risk. I was sold a vehicle that would not pass inspection and was advised by my mechanic that the vehicle was unsafe to operate on any road. When I contacted Country Hill Motors about the issue they told me it passed thier inspection. more

Bought a 2007 Honda Civic from them, 6/19/2012

Bought a 2007 Honda Civic from them,. My experience with them was bad and good, in a way. The bad was I bought a lemon of a vehicle, nothing but problems the entire time I owned it. The good.....8 months later, no warranty on the vehicle, I called them and told them my situation about the car I had bought from them. My original salesman referred me to someone a little higher up in the company who told me he would take care of me. On the whole, he did, I walked away with a new car mostly pleased. I was not however, happy that 2 salespeople told me I had been approved for a 2.9% apr, but when I showed up to sign the papers it jumped to 5.3%. I was at a 7% on my old vehicle however, and it had some serious issues. The trade in I had was only worth 5600 trade in price, and 7500 retail. Due to the problems I had, they offered me 8000$ for my vehicle to help me out, so I was very pleased that they did that. All in all, a good experience and I ended up with a better vehicle. They really seem to care about making things right for the customer, and I really do appreciate that. I gave the Merriam location a 4 due to their helping me out of this lemon, but the Olathe office a 2 due to the fact that a little research online showed the previous auto dealer listed it as haivng some body work.I feel their mechanics should have noticed this, as time passed even I, a normal, non mechanic type did notice the issues. more

Only IF you like running in ""Circles"" 3/2/2012

I saw Country Hill Motor?s listing and I saw that the Dealership was on our way home so my husband and I stopped in to look at it. This Jeep had just come on to their lot and shouldn?t have been posted to start things off because they had the bumper off the back to fix a dent and it hadn?t been through the service department to go through their inspection. This wasn?t a deal breaker, if gave us the chance to get a ?raw? look at the Jeep. After looking it over (and not getting to test drive it due to the bumper not being intact) we decided that it might just be the one we were looking for. My husband is a Mechanic, he came across a coolant leak, the brakes needed replaced, new tires were a must & the battery needed replaced or something was drawing the juice from the battery (these finds were somewhat to be expected seeing how it hadn?t been through their service department). We left a deposit to hold the vehicle (we live 3 ? hours from them) I came back to test drive it a week later. After the first time I left there I had a good vibe. I was promised to over and over and over again that all the problems we pointed out were fixed, they had gone through it all and the salesman had personally driven it several times and it had not problems. I asked the same questions over and over again and looked for the leak, walked around the vehicle and asked if he was sure all the previously talked about mechanical problems had been taken care of, the answer was YES not only yes but I do not want you to drive a way in anything less than I would want my own daughter to drive a way in. So stupidly coming from a small town I thought that when someone promised to do something they would do what they promised, boy did they see me coming. 1. They didn?t fix the leak and sure enough it was coolant. 2. The battery died on me with in two days (they did put a new one in it) but failed to see that the starter was going out which caused the battery to loose juice over a night. 3. After having the bumper off for 3 days they failed to put back up the trailer connecter wires for the hitch. 4. The Auto darkening lights weren?t working (when my mechanic, not my husband, hooked the computer up to trouble shoot it, it was due to a loose connection) how hard was that to find? 5. I love this??well you can drive back here and we will fix it for free? yah well this should have been done before we picked it up! I?m not driving 6 hours for you to fix something that you should have done in the first place. (they did agree to let me take it to my mechanic and they would pay for it, but it has taken me 2-3 weeks to get it resolved , my jeep sat in the drive way for 1 week and at the shop for another, and it took multiple calls to get anything done.) 6. When I left I was promised that within a week I would have the spare key they sent off for and a service report in the mail. I haven?t seen my key or my report. A month later when I asked about the key (after we got the mechanics figured out) I was told there was no such mention of a key. There are good people there and they will help you, but it seems that their word is lacking. Promises aren?t kept and when you call them out on it they will send you on a wild goose chase and apologize the entire way. Enough Apologizing why don?t you do something about it! So if you are looking to buy from them stick to your guns, make sure they do what they say and don?t leave that lot till you are 100% sure they have done everything they promised! It?s like pulling teeth to get things corrected after words, so if you want to avoid the run around go somewhere else, if you want a challenge then by all means try your hand a buying a car from here. I love my Jeep it will last me a long time and be a good vehicle for me and my future family, now that my hometown Mechanic has taken care of all the things they didn?t! more

Do not use their financing 2/15/2011

Country Hill offers a friendly Military Discount on the ""About Us"" page but heed this warning, DO NOT use the finance companies they work with. Get your own! Country Hill connected us to Westlake Financial of CA for the auto loan. We are deploying and needed to pay off the loan EARLY and Westlake has been beyond difficult to work with. Any good that came out of the purchasing the auto from Country Hill has been lost working with Westlake Financial of California. more

not a good experience 7/19/2010

I bought a car and had to go back because one tire was bigger than the others. Was told to bring it in and drop it off and I'd get a loaner until it was ready. When I got there I was told I'd need to make an appointment and wait while work was done. Meanwile the ""too large"" tire tore up the splash guard. When I went to app was told they'd have to order tire and parts so call back in 9 days. Called, made appointment for 10 AM and was told it would take approximately 1 1/2 hr. On arrival was told at 10:30 it would take longer as they didn't have the tools to mount the tires. I had to get a ride to other appointments and got back around 2:00 and had to wait another hour. At least they sold me the other 3 tires at cost. Pros: fixed problems.....so far Cons: multiple trips back to redo paperwork and 5 hr. service more

I had bad experiences at other dealerships, so when I started working with Country Hill Motors, it was like a breath of fresh air. They told me they would put me into a great equity situation right up front, and thats exactly what they did. Now I can trade my cars every year if I want, and always be dollars ahead. Definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family! Pros: Professional Group of Guys Cons: Too Many Options of Cars more
