Country Diner

I eat most of my Breakfasts across the street at Friendly's but decided to give this place a try, boy was I disappointed. When I entered there were 4 tables occupied with one person at the counter. I spent approximately 6 minutes before the waitress finally turned up to hand me a menu and never asked if I would like coffee. I looked at the menu and made my choice and tried to make eye contact with the waitress who was engrossed in a conversation with the customer at the counter. Finally she made her way over and took my order. I had to ask her for coffee and it took a little over 5 minutes before she arrived with it. My order arrived, 3 pancakes and 2 over easy eggs, not once did this waitress ever come back to check if I needed anything else. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was with the service of this establishment. The price which I was charged was $1.00 more than the menu price but I did not question this because I knew that I would never be back to this establishment. more

This isn't the old Country Diner any more. The owner, Cat, greets you in a way that immediately makes you feel welcomed. The food here is good, much is like home cooking - even the turkey in sandwiches is oven cooked on site. And the prices are very affordable compared to other diners in the area. There are many new menu items, but the comfort food is still there, too. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner - try it, you'll like it and come back for more. more
