I have many fond memories of this Country Dairy while growing up. My friends and I would do our chores and save our allowance to be able to enjoy what we perceived as the best ice cream in the world! Located a little right to the intersection of Fresard street and Harper, it was within 15 minutes walking time from our homes on Downing. What a tribute that it is still going strong some twenty something years later and they are very reasonably priced. Not a sit in so we would park ourselves on the benches outside and let the cones drip there before returning home. more

Country Dairy 3/28/2006

This is my all time favorite seasonal ice cream shop. I have childhood memories of driving my bike there for ice cream during the summer. I love having this same tradition with my own children. They offer a varied menu. I personally love the flavor burst cones:) Their menu items are reasonably priced more so over their competition. Summer has truly ended when Country Dairy is closed for the season. more

Great drive through ice cream stop! 8/12/2005

Country Dairy is located on Harper Avenue between 9 and 10 mile roads. Parking is plenty but there is also a drive through window on the side. Gets busy on hot summer nights! Prices are comparable to other ice cream stops. There is not indoor eating. It is a stop by, stand in line, pay for your ice cream and eat in your car type of thing. Staff is nice and service is quick! more
