New Store after the tornado was well worth the wait. They did a terrific job, new deli, bakery, meat dept is excellent.And, if you drink beer, they have a HUGE walk-in cooler for the customers to choose their individual brands. The best store around, including those in town. This store saves many of us "country folk" from driving into town, but definately has all the bells and whistles!! more

Country Store 4/25/2007

County Boy has been around for YEARS. This is the only grocery store out in the middle of nowhere. Unless you wanna drive all the way into town to get your food. It is very convenient although the prices are a little higher, but you could spend that on gas alone to drive to the city to get groceries. They also have a convenient gas station for all you living in the middle of no where. more

Country Boy Markets / Little Axe 8/19/2005

The Country Boy in Little Axe is the place where I buy my meat. There’s something different about their meat as opposed to the large city grocery stores. What is it? Well, it tastes good! It’s fresh. I won’t buy it anywhere else. This store, like it’s sister store also carries a few things I can’t find anywhere else. They have MRS STEWARTS BLUING!!! They are in the process of doubling the size of the store. I for one, can’t wait. I may never have to drive to the city again! more
