I have been going to Country Bill's for some 20 years, at least once in a while. It is a family atmosphere with reliably decent food. Sometimes gets busy with loyal senior citizen regulars, but have usually been seated quite promptly. Service decent, and recently had outstanding service (prompt, attentive, personalized from energetic young waiter!). Prices are the usual in Portland (which is not cheap), but my steaks have always been good quality and cooked just the way I asked. The razor clams are to die for!! And you can order just one or two as a side if you have just a wee craving:-)
My most recent meal had the usual crisp green salad, tender and perfectly cooked (for me, MW) ribeye steak, fresh and hot garlic bread, a succulent side of razor clam, and my ice water constantly topped up!
Pros: easy parking in back
