Good Food/ Bad Service 7/13/2002

I sat on the patio on (7/13) Friday night. The food and drinks were great but the service was definitely nothing to brag about. Does that guy with the glasses ever smile? It was probably just our waiter because the people on the far end of the patio seemed to be having a much better time with their server. I will come back hoping for a better experience next time. Great Margaritas and Good Food 7/13/2002

Everything was wonderful on my visit to the Cottonwood Cafe. I had a great waiter named Steven who took great care of us. He was very Knowledgeable and funny. This place truely has the best Margaritas in town. They go great with the creative southwestern dishes that are on the menu. I will definitely be back soon. Pros: Margaritas, Cafe, Food more

I work nearby and frequent Cottonwood for the atmosphere and food. Margaritas are excellent. Try the lunchtime 'therapy' at the bar. Robyn will take care of you. Pros: Moderate, Robyn, Margaritas more

The creative use of herbs and spices in their cuisine is magnificent! Their Catch of the Day - the other night - Grill Sea Bass - with a mango chipotle sauce with fruit salsa was superb - and their wide variety of top quality margaritas is fantastic! Good to be a regular 7/11/2002

I have always had a great time at the Cottonwood. I work in the building (222 Berkeley) and go there at least a couple of time a week. The staff is great, and know me by name. The food is always good and the margaritas are the best in town. It feels like they are throwing a party. more
